I wish I could decorate my house as easily as changing the background to my blog. I get bored. I need something new.
In our house, it's all new door knobs. After 10 years of looking at shiny brass, I got sick of it. I have also bought new lights to replace the shiny brass ones.
Next, it's the wallpaper in our breakfast nook. Chair rail is all ready down. Border is peeled off, now for the wallpaper. Then texture and paint. Any suggestions on a color?
After that, we are pulling up the carpet in the breakfast nook (I know, who would put carpet in a breakfast area? Well, we were just too cheap when we built the house to do tile there). We are going to stain the concrete. I'm excited about that. I'll have to take pictures as I go along my redecorating journey.

Yea! So you are going to stain the concrete! We're doing ours next weekend I think! I can't wait!
Depends on the color you stain your floor. You want the wall color to compliment it. Of course, I always go for shades of red - a deep red with brown stain ragged over it and then a chocolate brown floor! Yummy! Just stay away from none food colors - my interior design books always said blue was a bad color for a kitchen and that reds and yellows make you eat fast.
